One of the common misconceptions of Digital Images is that they can be used straight off the camera.
Even the best professional digital camera has to have the images polished before it’s images can be used anywhere.
Built in to the cost of each job is allowance for polishing/colour correcting up to 6 images for delivery to media or for publication. All our images come with an embedded profile to allow for the best reproduction in print. This profile will need to be stripped off if the image is to used for screen or web use only.
From time to time, deadlines mean that the perfect situation for a property or site is simply not available. Its these time where our Digital Imaging expertise comes into its own.
We can also provide large prints on either canvas or fine Art paper with our in house large format printer. It uses Ultra chrome pigment inks which have a light fastness (no fading) time in excess of 100 years provided the print is displayed correctly.
Set out below are some examples of Digital Editing done for clients where time or conditions have compromised the quality and meant that some editing has been required. Sometimes it is just for cosmetic reasons or an improvement to the image.
