Payment Terms
All accounts should be assumed to be cash unless a credit arrangement has been made in advance. Where a Monthly account is not settled in full in a timely manner,  to protect our interests, we reserve the right to forward the invoice to our Credit Managers  at our discretion. All costs associated with the recovery of the debt will be at the debtors expense.

Copyright
The law in New Zealand as it stands states that the Copyright is held by the creator of the works until 50 years after their death. This means all images commissioned by clients are the intellectual property of Pix Ltd.

On the delivery of the images from each job, every Client has a 60 day temporary license to use the commissioned images for their use. On full payment of their account, the temporary license becomes permanent. This means the client can use the images how and when they want for an indefinite period.
They own the rights  to use those images. Pix Ltd still owns the intellectual property rights to them.

If a third party is to use these images in print(magazine or newspaper) we ask that they provide a byline with each use.  example: Photograph by Pix Ltd or Photograph by Chris Miller.

In the event of non payment of account, we will give all stake holders 7 days notice in writing(usually email) that the images are subject to Copyright and must not be reproduced in any form from that day on. Any breach or unauthorised use of the images at that point will be contrary to the Copyright Act.
