After the assignment, the images are processed (removed from the camera).
The files are renamed, the duds removed and the remainder are proofed.
We also make two web sites of each job. One so the high resolution raw images can be downloaded by the client and the second one is a slimmed down one to help make a selection of your images. The site addresses and the proofs are then emailed to the person who commissioned the job. 
On the right is a demonstration proof sheet that would be sent via email.
The web sites show thumbnails of the same images with the same filenames so you can easily make a selection for further processing..

Each image has between 8 - 54 megabytes of image information. They are stored in JPG format which compresses them to around 1.2 - 5.8 megabytes depending on the camera mode used.Images can be TIF or JPG in various compression modes.
Note: Images on the web site page will be raw off the camera and might require minimal brightness/contrast and hue adjustment. Most layout artists prefer to do their own image editing but this can be done on request. for a few images without any extra charge.The client can directly collect the images from the web or we can return the images required by filename with or without file modification(colour/brightness/contrast adjustment)
This can be delivered by email (if there is only one or two images) or for a small charge we can courier them to you on a CD.
